Awakening Cooperative Lab

Founder & Director | Jan 2012 – Present Launched a transnational lab for social innovation, systems design, and education transformation that has supported over 3,000 stakeholders across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.

  • Led national education campaigns such as Education Bypass Surgery, connecting over 100 youth to >10 local social hubs, sparking pathways of self-directed, socially meaningful learning.

  • Developed and prototyped frameworks such as Learning by Caring and Allocation Dependence, adopted and cited by nonprofit and academic partners.

  • Built collaborations with key institutions like the Ministry of Digital Affairs, National Development Council, and Konrad Adenauer Foundation; contributed to award-winning initiatives.

  • Founded and edited Awakening Magazine, based on the "Reflexive Media" model, reaching >5,000 subscribers and contributing to transformational youth success stories, including a dropout winning Taiwan’s Presidential Education Award.
